In order to further promote the implementation of Tianjin intelligent agriculture special action plan, Tianjin Municipal Commission of Agriculture and Rural Affairs actively connects with Zhao Chunjiang, Academician of Chinese Academy of engineering. During the third world intelligence Congress in 2019, Beijing Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, Tianjin municipal government and Jinghai district government formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish Tianjin Institute of Intelligent Agriculture in Tianjin.

With the goal of improving the innovation ability of Tianjin intelligent agriculture, the institute has gathered international and national innovation platforms, leading talents and innovation teams, and carried out scientific and technological innovation, product pilot test and international cooperation, built a high-end intelligent agriculture innovation base with significant international and domestic influence, and promoted the development of intelligent agriculture industry in Tianjin. It provides scientific and technological support for agricultural and rural modernization in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and the rest of China.

Tianjin Institute of Intelligent Agriculture will be the national intelligent agriculture research and development highland, intelligent agricultural exchange and cooperation base, and the national modern agriculture demonstration window.
